Yes. Battery Removal isn't Difficult. But can be Intimidating to a Novice. Took me about 1/2 hour to change mine to a Lithium. But I also replaced the Cables with the Sumax 4 Gauge. And had to clean my Ground Stud.

Get a Name Brand Charger/maintainer. One with a SAE plug. Your Street may have the Harness??

Definitely get a battery tender. Your street may already have the harness; mine had one installed. It's not delivered that way from the factory, but many dealers install one right away anyway. As Max said, getting to the battery is a bit of a hassle, so if yours already has a harness installed, that's a great advantage. If not, it's not THAT big of a deal, but it does take a half hour or so to get down to the battery so you can install the harness on the battery's positive terminal.
