I can not tell you what is best. I can tell you one to avoid The Bassani loud for the sake of loud and sounds like carp. I can tell you one that preforms great sounds great and won't be to loud. The HD night Stick aka super trap.
You can tune it to your needs by adding disks to flow freer or removing some to add low end torque . V&H highly over rated
Rossco I have said it in a few posts now. For the same money as a slip on you can get a tuned set of your design . Just go to a professional exhaust manufacturer get something original that stands out. For my money I also got loud... but they would have silenced it however I wanted it. Off the shelf is just as pricy as custom mate and almost as ugly. That's my opinion.
It seems about a 50 / 50 mix as to whether you need to remap when putting on a slip on muffler and keeping the stock air filter. Does anyone really know if it is necessary to remap?
