Alright everyone!! Looking at exhausts and I have my mind set on 2 either a SandS grand national or Vance and Hines hi output!! Just thought I would ask for some opinions those who have them!! Cheers

I can not tell you what is best. I can tell you one to avoid The Bassani loud for the sake of loud and sounds like carp. I can tell you one that preforms great sounds great and won't be to loud. The HD night Stick aka super trap.

I just bought the Mutazu slip on it sounds great! A deep rumble that is not to loud just perfect.
Catalytic converter would be an issue and 2:1 exhaust boosts midrange torque. We use V&H Pro Pipes on all our big HDs - Big TQ in the middle.
Rossco I have said it in a few posts now. For the same money as a slip on you can get a tuned set of your design . Just go to a professional exhaust manufacturer get something original that stands out. For my money I also got loud... but they would have silenced it however I wanted it. Off the shelf is just as pricy as custom mate and almost as ugly. That's my opinion.

Rather than telling people they are wrong, might be better to state "in my opinion ". Exhaust note is a personal preference and the one or two horse power gain some claim are only in a very limited, normally high RPM, which is not used all that often.
