I pay @ $50 for my 500 Street. I told some people. They thought that was high for bike insurance. My people take care of me. Am I missing something? I'm reluctant to go searching around if it dings my credit. Is that high for full coverage?

Insurance doesn't hurt your credit score. I have Nationwide and for a 2003 Ultra with sidecar and my 2016 Street 750 I pay $49 a month. Includes full coverage towing and accessories insurance. Hope that helps!! Cheers!

Consider shopping around for insurance, and don't feel bad to switch around if you find better coverage. In some cases you will find more coverage for the same price, or even a cheaper premium. Bottom line is you get what you pay for.

I googled insurance. I saw something called Markel. I noticed Harley has something.

I'm in car sales, and I got approached by Geico. While I don't have a car at the moment, I can just research with the people that approached me for my customers and kind of lead by example that way.

If it's not going to hurt my credit score, then I'll give them a shot. If your bike is that big, and you only pay that much, then I feel like I'm way overpaying for my 500cc motorcycle.

I do like towing. That would help give me peace of mind. I had no idea that might even be offered. I was freaking out. As a matter of fact, I think I paid for a tow once not long ago, and they didn't even ask if I wanted to put it on insurance.

No one even suggested call my insurance either. What a racket. lol

$1200 was progressive’s quote for annual insurance with mid to higher limits.

Erie quoted me $220 for the same limits to add my XG750 to my existing binder. I didn’t even know Erie insured motorcycles.

I use Progressive myself. At $50 a month, I spend $600 a year. I have full coverage.

I've never heard of Erie.

As long as I don't get dinged on my credit, I'm going to call Geico to verify I can't get a better rate.

I just signed up for healthcare at work, so I still need more room in my monthly budget.
