Thanks for posting accessories. Wandering about windshield choices, but will probably opt for after-market, which are usually more efficient and cheaper as well. Waiting to see when and what the 750 will be for America. Supposed to be 2nd quarter of calender year, which starts April, but will probably not be available here until May, as our bikes will come from Kansas City, MO USA, which are not yet in production.
Not many smaller bike choices over here with this kind of laid-back styling. This will be the first small cruiser with belt drive at this price point in a long time.
I like the peak NM @ 65. That converts to about 48 peak foot lbs for U.S. measurements. My 494 lb Honda CTX700 has 44 foot pounds with 90% of peak available from 3,000 to 5,500 RPM. It would be nice to know the NM / torque curve to see how they compare from a performance standpoint. I'm not partial to NM/torque only at high RPM, so I'd like to see at what RPM the torque exceeds 40. At any rate, considering the raw peak torque published, I think it will be plenty strong enough for my needs. Question then becomes the fuel economy. I can get mid 70s on my Honda in the summer with a tall windshield. If the HD Street can't get upper 50s, that would take me out of the market. I hope it is fuel efficient, because I really like the looks of this bike.
