Hello All,

I am attaching the scanned copy of the Brochure which I had received from Delhi Dealership of HD

Please start commenting which accessory is best and which doesn't makes any sense and would be waste of money.

Yes when I enquired from the dealer, they said Bike would be in display and for test-ride 1st March Onward, I would be calling them and checking again tomorrow i.e. 27th and see what they say now.

and Yes they Harley Dealer told me that first Lot is of 700 bikes and if it sells out then second lot delivery will start from August Onward.

Dont know how much true is that as they want to get more and more bookings.

Thanks for posting accessories. Wandering about windshield choices, but will probably opt for after-market, which are usually more efficient and cheaper as well. Waiting to see when and what the 750 will be for America. Supposed to be 2nd quarter of calender year, which starts April, but will probably not be available here until May, as our bikes will come from Kansas City, MO USA, which are not yet in production.

Not many smaller bike choices over here with this kind of laid-back styling. This will be the first small cruiser with belt drive at this price point in a long time.

I like the peak NM @ 65. That converts to about 48 peak foot lbs for U.S. measurements. My 494 lb Honda CTX700 has 44 foot pounds with 90% of peak available from 3,000 to 5,500 RPM. It would be nice to know the NM / torque curve to see how they compare from a performance standpoint. I'm not partial to NM/torque only at high RPM, so I'd like to see at what RPM the torque exceeds 40. At any rate, considering the raw peak torque published, I think it will be plenty strong enough for my needs. Question then becomes the fuel economy. I can get mid 70s on my Honda in the summer with a tall windshield. If the HD Street can't get upper 50s, that would take me out of the market. I hope it is fuel efficient, because I really like the looks of this bike.

if those typhoon wheels are an accessory what is standard?
Standard are the 7 Spoke Alloy wheels.
The typhoon wheel doesn't look too bad to me. seeing it in colored pictures you can see all the details, and if it was up to me, i would have it all black, not 2 tone
Actually like standard more than typhoon. Tired of typhoons as they are the most common after market alloys on the enfields here.
It all depends on the riders taste I guess.... this time around i do prefer the typhoons with the street.

Well.. how do you guys feel about spoked wheels with the hd street?

yeah for retro looking bike, spokes wheels will also look cool
I wouldn't mind see those wheels as an option :)

Hmmm that's strange coz the harley sales executive should have explained you with accessories ,yes there are back rest accessories two options if I remember correctly ...
If u don't like them u will get lots of variants in after market by the time bikes will be ready to be delivered in May/June ...
And u brought up a good issue ,I also wanted to know are the back rest very essential ???
It spoils the look of the bike as well :p
One off the sales executive @ Bangalore said it's a very essential accessories as bikes are torque and zippy u need them for pillion riders for safety ...
Then I thought yes it is very essential and a sensible accessory to purchase :)

spoked wheels are hard to pass up on, it's a classic look that always looks good on HD's no matter how new or old they are
Hi,
I could not visit the showroom. I am sailing in the at present so just spoke to the sales rep and NEFT the booking amount of 30k.
