I removed my seat cover and took it to a local business that makes boat covers and canvas awnings for buildings.

I had them sew on orange colored stitching around the factory seat cover stitching.

here is a couple of pics for anyone that might wanna see it.
the cost for the marine grade thread and labor was $50.

I inquired about getting colored stitiching on a mustang seat and they wanted $60 extra just for the color stitching, so I figured this wasnt bad.

very nice touch, mate..!
When i got my custom one made up, i wanted a red or orange stitch, but chickened out and played it safe with grey.
May have to change it up after seeing how nice it came out for you

thank you, I been wanting to get this done for a while.

the first place I had redo the seat cover and install a gel pad on my other bike didn't do a very good job, so it took time to find another place that could do it.

I was thinking about getting the mustang seat with color stitching, but the cost was well over $400. ...and with my style of casual local riding this seat's comfort is ok.

actually gray stitching for this seat was my second choice, it would go really well with the black theme of these street models.
