Our shop is having a friendly little competition and building four custom streets. There is a lot of neat ideas and energy flowing. To get a sense of what we can and can't do we had to strip it down and see what we are starting with. Here is a couple of pictures of our starting point. I will update as the build comes along

Did you guys get rid of the compensator for the rear wheel? or are you sticking with belt drives on your builds?

At this point I think all of the builds will be sticking with belt drive but at least one team was considering chain.

I honestly think a chain is the way to go with this bike, if you're considering anything other than stock. I know of a guy who has his prototype pieces being replicated as we speak, to convert the rear over to a chain drive while keeping the compensator on the rear wheel. I just don't like the 15" rim in the back. Tire's are so limited for this bike with the stock sizing. Looking forward to your guys progress.

I wish there was a comprehensive list of builds for this event. I've found a couple here and there. It seems no one was in to build threads and such. I need the spoke wheels I've seen on two bikes though. Hubba hubba!
