True story... I guess they gave all of them out to the dealers for the riding academy. They had 17 down in Corpus Christi when I took the class!

Keep the faith... they're worth it! Got mine 2 weeks ago, though I only had to wait a day :)

Aren't you lucky!

Another month for delivery when you ordered in February is brutal. Hopefully they follow through on that timeline at least. I know how difficult it can be to be patient, but my mom always said that "patience is a virtue."
I called my local stealer today for parts and asked if they got any Streets in yet, the guy said maybe in August. I am in northern NY.
Got mine yesterday. Dealership had one 500 and one 750. 750 is a screamer and the quickest bike I have ever owned. I think it's Harleys crotch rocket !

that sucks
i wish they were better with this, providing at least some information, keep us more engaged.
The thing is, if they put out information and then don't keep to it, people get really angry, so its best for companies to not say anything until they are completely sure of what they are doing.
I got a call from my HD sales rep. My 750 is being shipped on Aug.1st! should be in 3-4 days latter!
Thanks to all of you for your support and understanding about my complaining.
Hopfully my next post will be about an awsome ride!

Great to hear you love the bike! Makes me even more eager for mine.
Just wondered what other bikes you've owned?
Hopefully they actually stick to that, looking forward to an update on when you actually take delivery of it.
Hmmm,.... over the years I've owned mostly off road machines like the Yamaha 360 Enduro. It was the most powerfull off road machine I ever owned. Had a Sportster years ago for about two weeks (because all my buddies had one)when AMF owned Harley, (was a piece of junk). Yamaha Big Bear and a Suzuki X6. Had a terrible wreck and had to learn to walk again and gave up bikes till about 2 years ago. Bought a 500 Royal Enfield Bullet Military model due to the 70's flashback when I saw it. I finally got the yearning to ride again and started shopping around.Test rode many machines and almost bought a Triumph Bonneville a few weeks ago but decided to wait on this machine to see what it was like. I was totally impressed with the acceleration and smoothness of this ride. The styling and and the fact that it didn't sound like a Harley sold me. I always hated Harleys due the friggin loudness of the pipes and swore I would NEVER again own a Harley. The 750 street changed all that.
This is a great change for Harley. I'll never own one of the Big Loud machines, I think they are obnoxiously loud and scream "look at me".
The Street 750 is more power than I need but it is there when I want it and it is so pretty it hurts. :)

Sounds like your a well rounded rider! I always liked the looks of the royal enfields, but dealerships are few and far between in PA.
I'll be picking up my 750 on Monday Aug 4th. Cannot wait to ride.My brother is riding his fat boy about 150mi. to meet me for a couple of days of riding.
There are no dealerships in Tennessee either. I went to Virginia to buy my 500 Bullet (about 500miles one way). I figured I could do any needed maintenance. I'm a pretty good tinkering kind of guy. Any serious work that might need to be done I'll take it to Blue Moon in Georgia.
So far it has performed great. The Royal Enfield is what got me back to riding again and it is plenty enough strong for the type of riding I do, but after a while I yearned for more power. Why ? I have no idea. :)

WOW! I guess I'm lucky I just walked into the dealer and they had one on the floor and I bought it. I guess it's one of those things; I was at the right place at the right time.:D
