Hmmm,.... over the years I've owned mostly off road machines like the Yamaha 360 Enduro. It was the most powerfull off road machine I ever owned. Had a Sportster years ago for about two weeks (because all my buddies had one)when AMF owned Harley, (was a piece of junk). Yamaha Big Bear and a Suzuki X6. Had a terrible wreck and had to learn to walk again and gave up bikes till about 2 years ago. Bought a 500 Royal Enfield Bullet Military model due to the 70's flashback when I saw it. I finally got the yearning to ride again and started shopping around.Test rode many machines and almost bought a Triumph Bonneville a few weeks ago but decided to wait on this machine to see what it was like. I was totally impressed with the acceleration and smoothness of this ride. The styling and and the fact that it didn't sound like a Harley sold me. I always hated Harleys due the friggin loudness of the pipes and swore I would NEVER again own a Harley. The 750 street changed all that.
This is a great change for Harley. I'll never own one of the Big Loud machines, I think they are obnoxiously loud and scream "look at me".
The Street 750 is more power than I need but it is there when I want it and it is so pretty it hurts.
