R&D in the annual meeting in April there was mentions of some "market changing products" yet to come after the Project Rushmore and 500/750 Street presentation.

Maybe you have stumbled onto it. Or maybe they hacked a frame for the one off and that is why the stuff it on there?

Certainly would be interesting, but the battery technology is still the key as the Zero has shown.
At first I was going to say that I think an electric Harley is unlikely just given what the usual Harley customer is looking for, but when I saw that it was on the Avengers set I changed my mind. Given that in Captain America they had the production HD Street, it seems like Harley is taking the opportunity to show off bikes that will actually go on sale and not just bikes that are only conceptual.
I have the guys in the electronic shop in my fabrication facility doing electronic exhaust notes option now. Pushing a Bose amp with all weather speakers.

V&H
Rinehart
and the Potato potato of stock.

are the selectable tones.

The option will come in chrome or black.

I like where you are going with this ;)
Just can't be... I mean HD is still working on liquid cooled bikes that are not real Harleys. There is no way they would ever dare to stray even further away to battery-electric motorcycles...............
I am not really interested in fake exhaust notes for an electric bike. That just proves the point that Harley drivers are trying to be as loud as possible. I don't want to purposely annoy every person I drive by on the street.

Good point, I have the guys working on a silencer model that can be purchased extra as an add on, this will allow you to select the level of baffling you want!!!:D:D:p

Well electric bikes don't have to be limited to one solitary exhaust note, Imagine being able to purchase exhaust notes that could then be loaded into the system. Change the sound based on how you feel that day realistically.

You don't have to annoy the entire street, but you could if you wanted to ;)

Bluetooth app so you can change whenever you want to. Disable during forward travel over 5 MPH (8 KPH)

Its funny because these sound generator type features have already been implemented in the auto industry. Adding in engine tones to the sounds system to trick the driver.
Are they teasing us with the launch of their new e-bike???

Looks like its true, its going to be called the Harley Livewire...

Featuring a three-phase induction motor with 55 kW of power (just under 74hp) and 52 lbs-ft of torque, the Harley-Davidson Livewire is packing more power than both the Brammo Empulse R (54 hp) and Zero SR (67 hp).
battery life is a little suspect AR seems to believe its good for about 50 miles, so we're talking about a mainly urban bike here, but I don't think thats surprising. I'll be over the moon when we see regen capabilities being added to motorbikes.

Its looks great but just imagining how lazy and relaxed my left side would be.

Should change it up and mayb consider throwing a real engine in.
Back and forth to work for me. I work like to try it. 20 miles round trip plus couple miles to the gym at lunch and back. Depending on the pricing I think it could be a money maker.

you know its also possible that Harley built this bike with diminished capabilities on purpose. Figure the Livewire is at least 2 years out from serial production at BEST. In that time battery technology is expected to grow in leaps and bounds what with graphene technology and even supercapacitors we're seeing toyota pioneer (Le Mans, who says racing is useless ;)) meaning lighter batteries with greater power density.

Harly didn't build the Livewire to show people what an electric bike IS capable of, they built it to show what an electric bike COULD be capable of. Very far-sighted, credit to Milwaukee big time...

Do you have a guess on the price?
