This is where I'm looking for but will wait since I just bought a brand new Street 750 yesterday :) Since I had a long ride to and from the Harley Dealer (4 hours 45 minutes in total) on the highway with a strong wind I arrived home pretty tired with muscle pain in arms and legs. I am almost 5ft...
There have been several manufacturers of forward control kits for the xg500/750 and they seem to be pretty well received. You will see several bikes on the forum that have forward controls. I've seen one European manufacturer and a few in Australia and Asia. Not all of those are imported into the United States.
H-D made no bones about these bikes being designed for a rider no taller than 5'8" or 5'10", which is right around average height for adult American men. This is in line with their marketing this bike to the Asian market, women riders, and maybe less so to teenagers. If you are particularly long legged or taller than that you will find the rider triangle of this bike to be pretty cramped. Thus the popularity of the aftermarket forward controls.
