thanks, do you think it's just a label ?

They call it a 'trim ring' - not much you can do with a fuel cap unless you want to change the tank on your bike for another.

Yes, it's basically a thin metal(?) peel and stick label.

Harley and aftermarket gas caps are available for most bikes, just not ours. If you want to change to some flush mounted, pop up gas cap it probably calls for changing the tank, but it would be nice to be able to get a non-lockable gas cap that would just screw in.

Has anyone ever found a replacement pop type gas cap for the Street models?
Mine is a total disaster from the previous owner. Key busted off in the cap and cap pried on to attempt to remove the piece. I got it out, but wow. Trashed.
