Heres an actual pic with my no slip strainer mod, obtuse how long after your new pump did the bike act up again?, since I own your old one now.the new pump comes with a gasket and the metal hold down plate., the nuts are on back order till August 2015

Kind of want to buy an extra one, have someone fabricate a new mounting plate, and weld it into a CB550 tank, instead of what I think of at the low point of the bike's design. Has anyone on the board gone with an alternate tank yet?
I'd thought of using my 750F project tank if mine ever acts up again and just use an external pump with appropriate regulator, but that's just pondering.

I've seen a Sportster tank used, which would use the Sportster fuel pump.
