We can always hope...Black is always nice but I would be really interested to see the HD street come out in red. Just something about that color would help bring out the contour and lines on the bike.
Yeah I agree, it seems more of a move HD would do.I think that HD would make an orange Street 500/750 before it makes a red one. Maybe a deep purple would work. I just don't associate some colors with Harleys.
Got to do what's rightI'm gonna flip the bill on having it painted the candy purple for the wife, happy wife, happy me in bed!
dark purple?Harley is advertising it as a "Dark Custom". What colors other than black lend themselves to that?
That brings up a point I've been trying to make as far as the demographic segment HD is attempting to sell the Street to. Why does it have to be a "dark" anything?Harley is advertising it as a "Dark Custom". What colors other than black lend themselves to that?
I know what you mean. it just depends on what the suits at the hd headquarters want as "their" brand image. That brings up a point I've been trying to make as far as the demographic segment HD is attempting to sell the Street to. Why does it have to be a "dark" anything? The Street is never going to sell to the old guard HD rider, in fact I'm sure they will shun and ridicule them AND anyone who rides one. If HD is really serious about broadening it's customer base they need to drop the old HD image of black this and black that. IMO it is HD's single minded, tunnel vision view of ALOT of potential new to HD motorcycle buyers/riders that could possibly doom the Street's appeal.
Just my .02 worth. BTW, I'd like a red one.![]()
I would love to see burgundy.I think in the next few years we will definitely see more colors. Dark red? Dark purple?
Nice, maybe even a couple shades darker would be good too.I would love to see burgundy.
A finish along the lines of this would look amazing on the HD Street 750/500
