A month ago whilst riding i lost power i thought clutch but the frond drive belt which holds the drive spindle had snapped. Unbelievably the nub end which i would expect to ne Loctite in was totally lose. This in turn allowed the spindle come come off shredding the belt and cover.

\My dealership had seen this once before on the sane model Street XG 750//

My bike is a 2016 with 4k on the clock

Several of our members have run into that problem. When that pulley flies off it can do quite a bit of damage. My understanding from an earlier thread is that H-D has changed the bolt that holds the pulley on to a shouldered bolt instead of one that is threaded all the way up. This adds just a tiny bit more metal in the area where the bolts have been shearing.
