I searched online at the Harley-Davidson parts store and elsewhere and couldn't find it. I'd call my local Harley dealer and ask them about it.
HD-51502 this is a Tappet Adjusting Wrench from page 2-36 of the 2015 Street Models Service Manual.
Has anyone been able to source this tool
Talking with my partner that is far more experienced with overhead cams he tol me that Harley is known to create "special tool" requirements and then not offer them to the public so that you have to take the motorcycle to Harley for service. The after market usually offers a comparable tool in these cases but normally that takes about a year before it happens. He's going to check to see if the valves use shims for valve lash that generally requires a special tool of if valve lash screw/nut controlled that doesn't typically require a special tool.Yeah, Been there done that. Have an email in to the corporate Harley.com store We will see where that leads. Thanks for the input. We need the tool to check our valve lash.
Thats one fancy look gizmo you have there.....This is what I have. I'm guessing the HD tool is similar. Possibly a different size.
