I searched online at the Harley-Davidson parts store and elsewhere and couldn't find it. I'd call my local Harley dealer and ask them about it.
Yeah, Been there done that. Have an email in to the corporate Harley.com store We will see where that leads. Thanks for the input. We need the tool to check our valve lash.

Talking with my partner that is far more experienced with overhead cams he tol me that Harley is known to create "special tool" requirements and then not offer them to the public so that you have to take the motorcycle to Harley for service. The after market usually offers a comparable tool in these cases but normally that takes about a year before it happens. He's going to check to see if the valves use shims for valve lash that generally requires a special tool of if valve lash screw/nut controlled that doesn't typically require a special tool.
I looked in OTC's catalog and can't find it. They do have the Axle Tool. And some other tools. I have a set of 3 made by Motion Pro. And with my luck, Its not one of them.

The Tool is designed to make it easier. By Holding the Adjustment Screw so you can tighten the Locknut. And its a right angle design. Better for limited clearance applications.
With a 2 year warranty on said HD XG500/XG750 - I guess HD are not expecting consumers to be wanting these ....just yet

This is what I have. I'm guessing the HD tool is similar. Possibly a different size.

Resurrecting this zombie thread!

Service manual calls for adjustment at 15k. Which puts me about 2.5k overdue.

I spoke to the techs at my local $tealership and they showed me what they have. The MotionPro set should do the trick.
