Hi,
I am the happy owner of the Street 500 . I would have prefered the 750 but they are hard to come by. I have a 2011 Road King Classic which I love. I wanted something easy and simple to commute on. The street is perfect.
Hi Harleyvest, Both bikes are wonderful in there own way. The Road King weighing in a bit over 800 pounds is great for all day rides and road trips. She goes down the freeway doing 80 without me noticing. The Street 500 weighing in a bit over 400 pounds is perfect for short rides around town and commuting. I can tell when I am going 70. I am still breaking her in so I don't push it yet. The first few rides on the Street felt like I was riding a moped.
I feel blessed that I can own both.
Must be nice to own more than one. I guess it make sense to have one bike for each purpose. In that case I should own about 4! one for commuting, one for long trips, one for the dirt and one for the nostalgic purposes
