just joined the forum myself today too along with my first bike being the street 500 so warm welcome to you too. Ive made a couple of good wee mods to mine which im enjoying more for comfort than anything as I wasn't a fan of the stock bars but not spending much more on it as I transition through the license ranks as 650cc is the max I can have on my recently past learners. Great starting bike for a 40 year old who's roads are very average after earthquakes 4 years ago. Love the softer shocks.

12 inch mini apes from triumph bar supplier as Dia is 7/8th. Very comfy to use.

Welcome to the forum guys! Make sure you read the "Lag and Leap" thread as it's a safety issue. Also change out those stock death mirrors with some that you can actually see something in other than your shoulders. A couple guys here posted some DIY extenders that look great and help 1000x over the stock setup!
