Hello everyone, been a while since I said hello.

Well since mother nature has forced my hand (%^^^^^^ snow), I guess this weekend I will put a heater in the garage and install my replacement grill that I purchased a while back and install my saddlebags bracket while I wait for the snow to melt. I been too busy trying to get as much riding in as possible before the change of weather to do them.

Last year, I did not mind the snow that much..this year I HATE THE SNOW.

ah yeah i know what you mean, it can be horrible, especially when it's really cold out with these extreme cold temperatures.

Not sure where you live, but I am in northern NY. Won't be ANY riding here until April, unless we get an early spring, but I doubt it.
I totally agree with you... I HATE snow too. I would love to move south where I can ride all year, or most of it anyway. Here, if you ride in the cold, you might get 7-8 months of riding on a good year. My bike was put up for the winter by mid-November this year due to early snow and cold temps, and will most likely be mid-April before I get it out. That is 5 months with no riding... I think I will go read another thread now, this is depressing.

I've always kept a heater in my garage. Since moving to the Great NW I've used an electric/oil heater set on low just to keep the "chill" off and it usually stays above 60F even when there's snow on the ground. While in SoCal I just used a regular incandescent light bulb as they put out enough heat for that mild climate. Yes, it costs a few dollars a month but it's much better for cars and motorcycles to keep them warm all winter long.

Winter sucks for motorcycle riders. I hear you. At least we get some really long days during the summer in the north. That is what I look forward to when the winter makes me blue.
