Haven't ridden in 30 years since high school(I grew up on bikes), but have been dropping some serious hints to my sweetheart about buying a new Harley. That's because upon hearing about the new Streets, I ran down to my local dealer and gave him this

to secure my name at the top of his 'wait list'. That was mid-December.

I've yet to tell my wife though.

He's not sure. He has yet to receive any info about delivery or pricing. In the meantime, I'm signed up for the local rider safety program(mandatory in NY) and shopping for a new helmet, gloves, boots, etc. Hey it's only money right?

What did you ride when you were in highschool?

I'm sure she will ok with it once you take her for a ride. Be sure to buy an extra set of riding gear for her too

Started when I was 10 with a Kawasaki KD 80 dirt bike.
Moved up to Honda XL 185S in junior high
Graduated with a Honda Nighthawk 650

Got married in the Navy and my sweetie has flatly refused to allow a bike ever since.

However, I've been dropping lots of hints about buying a Harley this spring...I'll just have to deal with the fallout.

I live in the Rochester area in Western NY.
