Alrighty guys and gals, I guess it's time, I've been a member for a while. I've mainly been using this forum as a way to research and broaden my mechanical skill set. I'm a more than avg mechanic, I've worked on some bikes that aren't my own, and in high school I was an apprentice auto mechanic. Well, I know why you are all here. You wanna know what makes my Street "unique" well I'm trying to get her there, but here she is so far.

Mods:
1) V&H Performance Slip-on
2) V&H Naked VO2 air intake
3) Fuelpak FP3
4) V&H Exhaust header wraps.
5) Chrome autobots decal on the tank and her name displayed above the H-D emblem.

Not gonna lie, Friends and family complained that my bike was dangerously quiet with the stock exhaust and I honestly hated the lack of sound. With windows up, friends couldn't hear me passing them in their car, with the V&H... my coworkers can tell I'm arriving for my shift before I even park. I did all my performance mods (wrap first, then slip on, then air intake) in 3.5 hours, and another 10 minutes to map using the fp3.

(Yes, I am in a MC)

Similar mods here, and more. You might want to get a cover for that cleaner. Mine looked too naked like yours, so I covered it up lol.

Is that reflective tape on your wheels? The bike looks great.
Sound from the Air Filter

Hi Chrisnupp,

I have a similar upgrade done to my street 750 and the sound is amazing.

) V&H Performance Slip-on
2) V&H Naked VO2 air intake
3) Fuelpak FP3

However, I get a hissing house from the V&H Naked VO2 air intake when the bike is running which according to the V&H is standard.

Wanted to check with you, if you are also getting some hissing house from the Air Filter.

Obtuse: I actually like the look, of "too" naked. i was thinking about the cover and when i installed it, i like it. to each their own.

Flamegirl: Yes, they are reflective white rim stripes, got them on amazon, don't cheap out if you want them, get some for a good price, they are worth it.

Risbah Beria: Yup, that's normal for naked air intakes, even on cars and others, nothing to worry about with that.

I always find this interesting because with my car windows up and my stereo blazing I can't hear even the loudest of motorcycles next to me.
