Hi All,

I figured I'd post my current setup since I have been posting bits and pieces all over.

2015 XG750 w/
Corbin Lady Gunfighter seat
Screaming Eagle intake
Vance & Hines Slip on exhaust
Vance & Hines Fuel Pack 3
Extended mirrors
front nut covers (soon to be swapped out with basic black ones)
Daymaker clone headlight
Generic tinted windscreen (off of Ebay)
Viking large hard bags
HD Vortex rear wheel





On order:
Forward controls
nut covers for front, rear and swingarms
HD red sparkplug wires

Question: What is the model of the Viking Saddle Bags you have and what mounting system did you use?

Just got the forward controls from Thailand. Now just gotta figure out how to install them!

Came from Thailand via New York. Talk about taking the long way around to Arizona!

Thank you for the link, these look like great quality and they are at least a little cheaper than the US alternative(s). Which would be more comfortable with drag/clip on bars? I'm having trouble deciding on rear sets or forward

Happy with forward controls, with modification.

I purchased a forward control kit last winter and finally got time, weather, healed shoulder, and nerve to mess with the brake a few weeks ago.

Fits me better now. I am 6 feet even tall (183 cm). I have 12 inch progressive shocks. I was able to take off my Tall Boy Seat and return to the original seat (although I have a Corbin on order). With 12 inch shocks on the back, the center of gravity has gone down. And the ride is smooth.
I did find out that the pivot of the brake pedal is now the lowest point on the bike with a good right hand lean, which led me to stiffen the suspension a little. (might have to go back to 13 inch shocks, if it keeps happening.)

One odd thing with the kit was that in the shipped form, the brake and shifter levers were reversed. The shifter lever is longer than the brake lever and in the original conformation my big old, fat foot would never have fit between the footpeg and the lever.

Took some puzzling to get the parts to fit just right, but got them all back together and in good position to operate the shifter and the master cylinder.
