Hello,
My name is Shine Lopez and I recently purchased my first ever motorcycle. I went with the Street 500. I've never ridden a full size bike before, but I have been wanting one for a while. I had been looking at some 2 strokes like the rd350, but then I saw the 500 on the Harley website and decided that was a much better looking bike, plus you cant beat the price. my goal for the bike is to ride as a daily commuter, I live about 15 miles away from work.
so far I am extremely happy with my choice.
I look forward to meeting some awesome people/ fellow riders, many adventures.

I am new to the "street Harleys" also, but have been on motorcycles since I was 7 yrs old.....that was 50 yrs ago.....I know i'm an old man....lol

so far I am pleased with this bike.

there is a few mods I want to make and have already started on some.

glad you joined the big family....

if I may suggest to new riders especially, please take a safety course.
then take the advanced rider course after you get some miles under your belt.

ride safe and please pay attention, and watch out for the cages !!

I've been riding for about 7 or 8 years now. I enjoy my 500. I too suggest taking a new rider course if you haven't already. Good way to learn some good techniques and familiarize yourself with the bike.
