Hello,

I'm a new 750 owner from Indiana, USA.

I've owned my bike for just about a month now and love it dearly. No mods yet.

I took a motorcycle safety course (ABATE) and loved it, and decided on the 750 over an 883 Iron.

Welcome.

Glad to read you took the basic safety course. It provides so much information for a new rider especially on riding practices that promote safety and is so superior to when I learned to ride before these courses existed. I've taken both the basic and advanced courses and advocate that riders go back and take the advanced courses if they haven't been to one in over five years. They are so worth it.

I believe you were correct in choosing the Street over the Sportster. Many fail to understand the differences but a Sportster isn't really a good motorcycle to learn on IMO and I own a Sportster as my primary motorcycle.

Most of all take your time and ride safely. Riding safely requires seat time and the experience it provides. Take it slow and easy and allow yourself to learn over time.

Live Free, Ride Safe.

Welcome. I too am a new 750 owner.
With the purchase also came membership in H.O.G. and for the new rider, or for those new to Harley-Davidson, I'd recommend joining a local chapter. It's a great net-working resource when it comes to basic riding as well as becoming a part of the Harley culture which really is unique in the world.
Welcome to the show! Keep it cool, make no assumptions and the shinny side will stay up. Just remember that everyone is out to kill you. (No Joke)

Welcome to the forum!

I know you haven't made any mods, but are you planning on it or open to modifications?

Post some pictures up of your new bike when you get the chance.

No major mods yet. I want new pipes but I haven't found any I love yet....so keeping the factory ones for now.

I am getting an engine bar put on this weekend; as well as a tail bag. My dealer (having them do all the work to stay in warranty for now) is also looking into moving the horn for me as it is driving me up the wall. That's it for now.

I'd love to know what paint people are using to color the logos on their bikes.....I love the idea of that, but I get a fair amount of rain here. I'm nervous about it washing off.

And I'm debating changing out my speedometer for one with a tachometer as well. But those are just things i'm debating.

The first 2 photos are at the dealership the day I bought it...the last is in our garage with hubby's bike

Welcome to the forum.

There are several threads in the Appearance and Modifications area concerning some simple mods you can do. That horn is definitely ugly sticking out like it does. That was one of the first things I modified. You can do it too by drilling one hole in part of the mount that is already on the horn and throwing that main brace away.
As far as coloring the logos,...' someone on here used an Orange Sharpie, I used Krylon Spray paint and a small fingernail polish style brush.
