Hi all!! First off - so happy I found this place. There are plenty of forums out there for the bigger bikes, but despite the popularity and the interest in the 500 and 750, not too many places for us to hang out and talk about our bikes.

Husband and I are new riders - late bloomers (he's 52, I'm 47). We've been into the classic car scene for close to 20 years, having owned two classic Mustangs (1967 and a 1964 1/2 (early 1965, depending on who you talk to). This year, we decided to get into bikes.

Being newbies, we were kind of intimidated by the larger bikes. The 750 and 500 fit the bill perfectly for us. My husband has a 2016 750, and I have the 2016 500 (with the reach seat - because I am short).

We love our bikes. They generate a lot of interest when we ride. A lot of the older guys say that if HD had these bikes so many years ago, a lot of the gals would be riding their own. We love charity group rides and just going out and checking the scenery.

Welcome,

I didn't get my motorcycle endorsement until I was 52. Rode a dirt bike many decades ago. I have a 2015 Street 750 that I bought new in July of 2014 with almost 20 thousand miles. I use my bike to ride into work weather permitting and lots of weekend riding. I still have the stock seat which I will be replacing eventually. This motorcycle is easy to maintain. Oil change is a breeze as well as air filter changing. I switch to a K&N air filter. Sixth gear and Sixty mph!
