Congratulations on your new bike @marian and welcome to the forum.
Practice, practice, practice....with practice you will get where you want and be so happy that you picked the bike. I dont know where you are located but if you have a parking lot, like MVA when it is closed, go there and practiceBought new Street 750 2 weeks ago. Friend of mine drove it Sunday from the dealer to my house, since I don't have enough driving experience to get it safely home. I drove it a little Monday evening. Tuesday, after driving it about a mile the engine light came on. The dealer picked it up and they found that vacuum line to the intake manifold was disconnected.
Since the dealer received all the optional parts I ordered, They kept it and installed all the parts. They also installed a new gas tank because of HD recall. They delivered it back to my house this Saturday. It is a beautiful bike and may be it should be kept as is, without being driven. I attached 4 pictures.
Today, I drove it around my neighborhood and in the near small parking lot. I need a lot of practice before I can drive it around the town or taking a trip. The bike handles very well in turns, but I need to get comfortable with controlling the throttle and generally the bike. It is more powerful bike than I should have at my stage of learning to drive motorcycle.
Anyway, I attached pictures of my Street 750.
