No Street yet :(

I've been lurking here for a couple of months now, figured I should say hi. I test rode a Street 750 back in November, but while I dithered over whether I really wanted to buy a brand new bike or not my husband and I lost our jobs...oops! So my Street-ownership plans are probably on the back burner for a couple of months still. I hope you don't mind!

You are welcome to Lurk away, or you can tell us some jokes. Life will change and you will get a bike.
Sorry to hear about your job losses.
The bike will come if you really want it. First focus on getting stable employment and getting back on your feet, then reward yourself. Don't make it an extra burden or you will end up resenting it.
Best of luck, and hang in there!!
Thanks! We're both good savers so we're in a pretty strong position (as far as you can be), but it's a bummer to put some of the fun on hold.

Glad to hear that, at least you guys have a strong foundation from what it sounds here, i'll be waiting for the rebound :D
Sorry to read about the adverse financial situation of both of you losing your jobs at the same time. All of us go through financial set-backs and it sounds like you'll recover from it swiftly once you find new employment.

Keep visiting and sharing here and also visit your Harley dealer once in awhile to just sit and look at your future motorcycle. As has been mentioned you can look forward to rewarding yourself in the future once your financial situation turns around.

Take care in the interim.

Visiting local harley dealers will definitely help out, good help if you need a kick in the arse, that will be sure to do it
