Installed new shocks for my ride. A ton of adjustability from Ohlins. From the looks and shape point of view the OEM orange was brilliant. It was also very good when it came to performance. I needed to swap between comfort and performance whenever I wish and hence Ohlins . Just being seated on the bike make you feel the difference. Have not done the test ride yet. Sharing a few snaps.

DDH Studio has something similar at Universal Heat Deflector – DDH STUDIO

Captain Itch makes something similar in the United States. I'm pretty sure you could send him any design and he will hand tool it for you Heat Shields – Captain Itch – Quality Motorcycle Leather Goods & Motorcycle Heat Shields (captain-itch.com)

That being said I'm pretty sure you could take some photos from these web sites to any local leather worker and they could knock off copies pretty easily.
Thank you share the info.

These are leather options which I did not want . I wanted something rigid like the softail models have . This product is rigid ( metal + rubber coating underneath) and is a bolt on. Takes less space than this leather products. Cheers.

Make sure and give us a ride review after you get a few miles on them.
Did a couple of ride 100 miles put together. Did both two up ride and just a ride alone. I used the suspension in factory settings( got installed from HARLEY dealer). Rough road performance-the bike remains stuck to the road and not bouncing or no fear of losing traction(city and country side roads). The suspension take all the jitters and doesn’t not transfer all that to rider or does not unsettle the ride( 70 miles speed in highways with bad road conditions). The original setting needed no changes for me and pillion as the ride was comfortable , cornering in twisted road with two up and rider alone was inspiring. Braking and stopping worked just as good as factory street rod 750. I have not played around with any adjustments yet but all looks well set. The important feedback from road is noticeable in slow speed and highway speed( there is less unsure moments). If anybody asks me is it worth it I would say yes. If you ask me is Harley stock shock good the answer is yes but does not performance on rough patches like Ohlins( also comfort has increased by like 30 %- 30 % more time before you want to take a break).I have already ordered the front fork cartridge and spring as Im impressed with Ohlins. Cheers.

Will do and thank you
The front Ohlins suspension is not easy install. The dealer has had problems. The Harley street rod 750 front inverted forks are not serviceable and hence the bottom part of forks need special treatment. Heat it up to unscrew and the use a special tool to install the new components. The bike has been at dealer for about 2.5 months and they have not been able to fix oil leak.
Neither Ohlins nor the retails talk about this not so easy process. It’s a pain.

Sharing info on Ohlins front end suspension kit. I got this installed. The important part of this installation is you need the following special tools from Ohlins + fork seals from Harley-Davidson. The tools: 00786-05 inner tube tool and 01797-07 seal head tool. Without the above 3 additional components you cannot install the Ohlins kit.
Just did one ride after the installation and I think the suspension upgrade is worth it. I hit a pothole completely unaware while doing a head heck + acceleration entering a highway ( speed- 70MPH). The bike remained planted on the road and did not unsettled . With stock suspension I had experienced the bike will just take off the ground and my spine will have a bad time. The stability and smoothness is with the money. For comfort you can adjust the suspension the way you like. A good upgrade. Street rod 750 doesn’t disappoint with these model specific Ohlins.

I have install both rear and front shocks. Only the front shocks needs special tool. I’m happy that Ohlins has Harley Street rod 750 specific suspension kit ( The benefit of all the testing done by Ohlins). The bike just feels planted to road every time. It has the softness for comfort and rigidity for control and what I like the most is the bouncy stock suspension feedback is no more. Two up ride also is with good control and comfort ( we both together are about 180kg). Any Harley-Davidson bike other than Pan America I think suspension upgrade and handle bar risers is the first thin people should do. I wasted a bit of money on V&H and all those crap stage 1. I’m not a fan of those loud pipes anymore( it’s a headache).

Cheers

Hi @CISA2016, thanks for the review!
I have the Street 750 and my suspension feels really stiff especially in the highway.
It looks like the Ohlins has suspension also for the XG750 model Öhlins suspension upgrades for Harley-Davidson Softail models

To get them in the UK it looks like it's gonna cost around £800 GBP + Labour from the HD dealership to install them. Do you think it's worth the money?

Hi ,
I know Ohlins is costly but they are the only ones with street rod 750/street 750 specific shocks in the market. I would only recommend if you are going to use the bike for at least next 4-5 years. They will set the spring based on your weight and the next import factor is the adjustability. The preload adjustment + compression and rebound adjustment will tune to the softness you want. You can keep it soft if you are not doing any aggressive riding . For me I found the street rod forks bouncy and hard( my weight is 100kg). I wanted to get rid of the bouncy nature but keep hard feedback . With these suspensions I get exactly that. I would say it’s worth it. The rear suspension from Ohlins change the entire ride( comfort + stability). Please note I use aftermarket seat from a Corbin + handlebar set to my liking. The thing you will notice the most is control and stability. Rear shock you can install yourself with the help of a friend but I think the forks you will need a mechanic who knows Ohlins ( Ohlins specific oil + tools needed).Go for it and no doubt you will feel a different bike altogether. Rear shock is the first step. Usually they have some discount around Easter holidays . Check for it shop around and ask for discounts . I waited for promotion before I bought these.

I’m now seriously considering a batwing fairing from Memphis shade and is saving for it .

Harley street 750 models are super good mate. It can do it all and is customisable to any level. It’s a shame that Harley stopped these.

I go regular to HARLEY stores and many a times I never feel like to upgrade. if it’s motorcycling what you like the you need just a bike.

cheers,
