A few days ago, I received the results from the dealer on my month old bike. The codes popped up saying the oxygen sensor was malfunctioning. They also mentioned the bike only firing on one cylinder (is that even possible?). I was told that the part was ordered and it should fix the problem.
Yesterday, while having his tire replaced, I had the husband check on the progress of my bike. Apparently, they ordered the part, but have no clue when it will arrive or if it will even fix the issue (bike won't accelerate past 40 mph without engine light coming on, sputtering, jumping when it seems to catch, etc). Plus, the tech admitted that they did not take it out on a test drive. To add insult to injury, he as also told that a similar issue arose with another xg500 and the part took over a month to arrive!
My questions:

My questions:
- Has anyone else had an issue with the oxygen sensor as it pertains to the throttle and failure to accelerate?
- What is the normal turn around time for bike repairs? I feel that a month is a bit excessive.
- Is it possible to "fire on 1 cylinder"?
