Just ordered a Power Vision solely for the purpose of having a tacho and gear indicator, using the gauge function

Anyone else used one?

Looks pretty cool

wow, that's pretty cool...don't think I want to spend that much for that on my lil bike though, i'll stay with the fp3 I think.

it does seems like a much more useful and easier to use item.

The main thing I like is you can move from bike to bike - has more functions, lcd screen - FP3 can NEVER go on a 2nd bike

the fp3 is supposed to show the gear indicator, thats the way I understand it to work anyway.

yes, it would be good to be able to move it from bike to bike.

I sent them a video overnight showing it not working.....

The PowervVision (PV) is such a buzz to ride with, for the TECHY at heart you can see all sorts of sh&% going on....concentrating on the road and caged idiots of course.

So I can now confirm she pulls about 3800RPM at 100kmph (62mph) in top gear....which is fairly low revs compared to what I am used to.

Another tip that I have learnt, and this may help the riders experiencing 1- 2 issues. WARM IT UP......I was having the same issues, once I got the PV on my son (21 knows everything, raced since he was 12) said used the PV to watch the temp get to 88 celsius....wallah!!...not a single shift issue...this girls likes to be warm.

Warm up takes bout 15 mins....it revs at about 1550rpm, the revs drop to about 1400 at about 50 C, and at about 70C the revs come down to about 1200 - you can see this on the PV, and set it, so I could, if I wish set the revs to stay at 1400 until it gets to 75C, then drop to 1200, then I will know it's warm....this is such a clever device - EVERYONE should have one!!!

So, as a tool it's brilliant...I can't believe the functionality of this thing!

If you can, let us know what 5,000 RPM in top gear is. I suspect around the 125kmph mark.
