I had already installed the rear rack on the mounts. The first thing I needed to do was to loosen the bolts and remove the rear rack. Next, take out the bar mount plate by removing and replacing all the mount bolts. Next, hold the saree guard while re-attaching the hardware. Do the other side. Tighten up and you're done.
I'll put up the part numbers on the guards if anyone is interested.
Now the saddle bags are hanging easier. With the guards on, any throw over saddle bags will work on a Street.
