Seen that Harley just released a new performance air cleaner kit.

Part Number: 29400173 Chrome, Part Number: 29400172 Gloss Black: $399.95

Its a hi-po system, forward facing with a washable filter. The kit includes filter, intake tube, custom back plate, water-repellent rain sock and all mounting hardware.

The article does say for touring, does that mean its a no go on the Street 500/750?

I am sure they would be application specific as to the engine... big twin, Sporty Evo, etc. requiring different kits. Undoubtedly, there will be something similar for the Street. If HD doesn't make it, the aftermarket will.

aftermarket will love it if HD doesn't fill this spot, it would be stupid of HD to not fill in as many areas as they can

Don't think these are a one size fits all kind of deal. I'm pretty sure the Street will have its own intake kit.

So does the Street have a single throttle body drawing through the side mounted air filter? Or, does that air filter feed a plenum with two throttle bodies inside like a V-Rod? Anybody know?
