Hey All, does anyone know what the NGK equivalent to the Harley Plug would be? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find anything close to Harley Part #31600012 (RG6HCC). Any help, I would really appreciate it!

CR9E for Standard. CR9EIX for Iridium. I have the Iridium in my 750

I Never did an actual Dyno or Ignition Test using both plus. The Iridium are less prone to wear. And have a Fine Tip. If you go to a Auto Parts store, Look at both. You'll see the difference.

I am in the UK. I have an Xg750 and have been told that the NGK CR8e is OK for colder climates. This is a 'hotter' plug, so would it possibly cause pre-ignition or am I worrying unduly?
Would I just be better to fit the CR9e? Thanks......

I wouldn't worry about the heat ranges and colder climates unless you are planning on using your bike for some kind of Nordic ice racing next winter. Your weather during riding season isn't that different from what it is when most other folks are comfortable riding their motorcycles.
