The odometer on my speedo is currently showing 90 miles less than the one when I check the stats on my Fuelpak 3. Can anyone else let me know if this is the case on their bike? I'm concerned as I bought my bike new supposedly, 2015 XG750 in November 2015, and showed 10 miles on the speedo when I left the dealership. However, if FP3 is correct and the speedo is counting miles accurately, it would have actually had 100 miles on it when I bought it "new".

Would it be more likely that my odometer is off or that the stealership rolled back the odometer and sold me a used bike as new?

Mine does the Same thing. Speedo shows one Mileage. FP3 Shows a Higher number. Contacted V&H. Have never received a response to my e-mail.

90 miles seems like alot, and I do not know the definite answer. However, I am a mechanic, and I frequently go into ECMs on tractor trailers, and the ECM mileage is different than what the odo on the truck shows. Never really looked into it as I wrote it off as break in miles at the engine factory. Like I said, I do not know the exact correct answer, but I have a feeling that its probably something along those lines. Either way, HD's warranty is unlimited miles, so its all good.

I would suggest you look at your MPG's over the next couple of tanks of gas. Calculate it using the miles on both the odometer as well as with the FP3. If one is higher than 50 MPG then that one is probably off. You could also check both against a marked distance on the interstate or use a GPS to double check it.

Does anyone know if attaching the FP3 will void the warranty? I saw somewhere you can attach it without flashing the ECM and still get the Tach/Speed/Gear indicator etc... on your phone. I am a brand new rider so would find the tach very helpful.

I Reflashed the computer on my bike. Saw the Odometer Discrepancy. Hooked it to my fathers 750. Didn't show the Odometer. I read it will only work as a Code Reader on other Harley's that it is Not mated to.

FP3 could potentially void your warranty depending on what issue causes the malfunction and how willing your dealer is to wor with you. FP3 saves your stock map however and you can flash back at anytime, I assume that could be done before going to the dealer.

The Problem is, If its an Engine Light. Putting the Stock Program back on will clear the code. You would have to drive it until it came back on.

I've only had it a week, but my BF has one on his Street Glide and uses it for all sorts of information and loves it. I got it with his recommendation. I like it because the Street has virtually nothing. Now I have a tachometer and a fuel gauge. And the new power I have with the air intake kit, slip-on and remap is amazing. I feel like my bike has finally grown-up.
