Has anyone else had an issue with their bike just cutting off? I had 10 miles into a fill up and my bike cut off while riding. I didn't lose my lights only my oil light was on. I pulled off to the side of the road and it restarted without any issue. I'm not sure what could have been the problem and was curious if anyone else ran into this issue.

This did happen once to me. Thankfully it was only once. Like you said the oil light came on and I was able to pull safely off the road, shut the bike off and I let it sit for a few minutes. Restarted it and it worked fine. Never had the issue happen since, but it definitely threw me for a loop. my only thought is that I revved the engine a bit higher than I normally do because a car was tailing me really close. Only thing I could possibly think of that I did out of the norm as far as riding goes

yep, mine did the same thing about 2 weeks ago.
riding about 35 mph and for no reason the motor just died.
after coasting to a stop, I restarted it and drove home.
hadn't done it since.
I did see another post on a thread here a while back where the stealer tech found a bad ground wire that was causing his bike to stall for no reason.

wished I knew which wire to check out.

happened to me a few times, each time is when i am slow speed limit areas or stop-n-go traffic. also once witnessed a series of lags n leaps when accelerating from traffic light; made me look like a squid who couldn't control the throttle

that has to be frustrating, not to mention worrisome too.

I'll ask the service manager if the techs can tell me which ground wire to check for a bad ground, if so then i'll post what I find out.
maybe this will eliminate the shutting off for no reason problem.

as far as the lag and leap problem, were you low on fuel when that happened?...if so your bike may still have a defective fuel pump.
