You can, there is someone on this forum who has put the front end and rear wheel from a Street Rod onto his Street. He put some pictures up , looked quite good actually.

The only major difference frame wise between the two models is the rear sub frame which is completely different. You would have to do some serious fabrication if you wanted to fit the Street Rod tail for instance

I'm not sure though if it would be cheaper to part x a Street for a Street Rod? Save a lot of spannering.

this works for me as i prefer the tail section on the street over the Rod. I was searching for a salvaged Rod to source the majority of the parts. My goal is not to make a clone, just thinking wider tires bigger forks, dual brakes and match sized tires would look and perform much better.

Finding a serviceable front end could be a challenge I would say, but who knows. Good luck with it and don't forget to keep us posted, with pictures!
