Tall Boy Seat Installed

Since the motorbike is slowly (actually rapidly) becoming my sons instead of mine the mods are changing a lot.

He is 6 foot (I assume UPS man since I am 5'6") so the tallboy seat went on it yesterday. For 190 bucks not bad. Does raise the driver up a lot and raising the pillion part up as well.

bally you have any pics perchance? I'm not a tall guy but I have a buddy looking at the street and hes not so keen on his knees being up above the tank, the tall boy rectifies this?

I will get some pictures. I put in on and he rode off with it again.

He was riding my old GS1100GK from 1982. He rode once in a while... now he has little over 300 miles since Friday afternoon.

Yes his knees were the same way (**** UPS guy) and now are level. I just got a set of Apes I traded my stock FLSTFB bars for on another forum.

To get his arms right (**** UPS guy) I think we are going to have to convert to at least 12 inch if not 14 inch apes.

Which all of this is not my project vision, it is my project going down the tubes. But I told him if he quit smoking and stayed quit, I would give him the **** bike.

So now we are building a 750 for tall person.

We will see in a few months. I have my eye on an FLTHK 2015 if I get that, he could ride the FLSTFB and I could get on with my 70's softtail chopper springer project.

I am also 6'0" tall but I have never tried out a tall seat. Is it a really great thing for tall riders? Looking forward to some pictures of what this looks like.
