My wife had a hard time reaching the grips without leaning and was wearing out her back. I installed 10 inch bars on her bike and they did the trick so she could sit up straight but I've had tons of trouble with the clutch cable. At first I was told I would need to add 10 inch's to the cable and ordered the longer cable but it was way too long and was hard for her and even me to squeeze the clutch. Was told by Harley that the cable was too long and I had the cable cut down 5 inch's. It look much better but still is hard to pull, feels like it's binding and looks like it's dragging at the top adjuster. It's lubed and travels freely when not connected. Any input would be helpful.

Switching to 10 inch bars would not require 10 inch long cables Maybe a couple inches. Some often find a way to get by if they want to work at it even going more than 2 inches over stock.
