Besides 250cc's of displacement there is one MAJOR difference between the Street 500 and Street 750, see if you can spot it

So does this mean if we're cruising down some popular city street with fine ladies walking along it's sidewalk that the 750 is likely to drop more panties than the 500? since they'll see how less of a man the 500 owners are....kidding.

So a 500 to 750 conversion will consist of sanding the cylinder fins and changing the air cleaner insert. Cheap and simple!

In that photo you can see the replaceable cylinders. This is quite different than the V-Rod engine where the upper engine case is a single casting up to the cylinder head.
