Hi,

I already did a test ride and was wondering how do check if the Street 750 the dealer is offering is Made/Manufactured in Kansas?

The dealer told me they source it directly from the USA

welcome

the way I understand it...

all streets sold in the U.S. are built in Kansas City.
all streets sold outside the U.S. are built in India.

Thanks for all the replies I will check the VIN number on the demo bikes when I do a test ride.

Being only 5'6 i like the ergo and how it was not too wide for me.

Great site

So, if mine starts 5HD4NBBA, it's built in India, and not Kansas?

according to Techs Harley Davidson VIN Information Guide 2010-Present

5HD would mean "Originally manufactured for sale outside the US"
4 = Middleweight (351cc to 900cc)
NB = XG750
B = 749cc Liquid Cooled Revolution X (XG750)
A = Regular Introduction/Canada(CAN)

Toward the end of your VIN the last two letters would be Year of Manufacture and Assembly Plant

Year is E for 2014 or F for 2015
And Assembly Plant is C = Kansas City or N = Naryana India

You will be happier with the 2016 model, so if you dont mind a little wait it would be worth it, otherwise work em over if you can on a 15 model, though there really isnt much mark up on the bikes, could possibly get them to wave some of the dealer fee maybe, 16 model has better brakes hidden horn and different levers.

Following is ...............6FC, so it was built in Kansas. Sweet!

Mobil One synthetic 20w-50 vs regular HD 20w-50

Anyone here using Mobil One Synthetic 20w-50 V-twin motor oil in their Street? If so, how would you rate it versus Harley Davidson standard 20w-50 oil? I'm seriously thinking of switching to the Mobil One when I put away my bike for the winter. Feel free to toss in your two cents worth!
