Just curious if anyone uses one on your street for long rides and just to stretch your fingers once in awhile...

Had one on my Suzuki. It was a bar end replacement that worked reasonably well, but not all that great for the price. This time I thought I'd try something different Amazon.com: Go Cruise/2wheelride GCA1bk Universal Throttle Lock: Automotive . Haven't had a chance to try (winter in MN) but its only $30 & it has good ratings. You'd think by now that a plug & play cruise control would be available, similar to the dynojet powervision, but with a CC switch assembly. Until then I'll have to be content with a throttle locker.

I picked up something "like" this for both my bikes, but NOT at this price.

JC-PB Cruise Control

I paid something like $5.00 each ..............Got 1 in Black for the XG750, and 1 in Chrome for the C50T.

Shop around!

BTW, they do work well

no need for it here in Philippines, other motorists on the expressways drive in a manner that makes cruise control totally effing useless
