Hello everyone,

Just recently installed new slip on muffler on my '16 750, sounds great. like a harley is supposed to sound. I got it from tuffside.com (aka:chappell custom). my question is, should I tune up my bike now that I have change the exhaust system a bit?.

Are you Modifying the Intake?? A Slip On by itself shouldn't cause much of a problem. If you do other Mods, Yes get it Tuned. I used a V&H FP3 on mine. Had to change to a different MAP after I installed the VO2 Intake.

I also have the V&H FP3 along with high flow filter and SE Nightstick slip on mufflers. I have auto tuned and set the map. It made a lot of difference in power as well as a smooth ride in low gears.

I recommend re-tuning especially if you intend to add a high flow air filter at one point. My bike has the K&N hi-flow and a V&H competition pipe. After installing and flashing the associated map from the V&H FP3 Fuel tuner there was a significant difference in performance.
