had some sweet flanges show up today

making a custom exhaust is going to be fun.
harleys stock exhaust has a flare on it and made the exhaust guy get a little creative

well i'm unable to edit the 1st post, no idea why! but it's not an option.

How ever I've switched it all over to photo bucket pictures.
I like those Hard Bags. Are they Weathertight??
I can tell you that they survived a pressure washer with out letting water in lol.
But i had to pick up plugs from my local hardware store to plug up the holes in the bottom. They must have used those holes for a different mounting point.
I like this mod for the 750. Somehow, eveything on this motor screams "Feed Me!" Let us know how it progresses. I'm working on suspension mods ar this point, before I pump any more H.P. Changing wheels so I can run a 120/70/17 on the front, and a 190/50/17 on the rear. Also changing over to chain drive. When that's done, I'll be ready to handle more get-up-and-go.

NICE! i look forward to see pics! 190 series rear!? Thats a big jump over the 140 series. Going for looks or drag racing? lol

Also you might want to think about a brake upgrade.

side note, why a chain drive? looking at changing gearing?

Hated the 15" rear tire since it was new. It's profile is too flat for good road handling. They used that size because it's light, cheap. and gives better "urban experience" with the stock final drive ratio. The skinny front is just to give the Street series the flick ability for city usage. I wanted some thing more like you find on other touring bikes (R1200RT, etc.) Get's the back end up a bit and improves lean angle. Also, a lot more options on tire replacements, and longer tire life. The right compound in the sizes I'm working with should go for up to 15,000 miles.

Already got Brembo's front and rear. That was one of the first changes I made. And I replaced the front brake line with braided for more rigidity. Wheel change gave me the option to go 2 discs on the front, but decided that I don't really ride it that hard, so I stayed with one. Am also changing the forks. Found a basket case Buell with some really neat forks. Just need the bucks.

Chain is to have more options on gear changes. With the larger rear wheel it changed the overall ratio, and without a turbo, it's a dog off the line. If your turbo works out then I'll probably go that route (when $$$ is available). That will give me the low and mid range, without increasing cc's, and still have a good road bike. I love the belt drive for smoothness, quiet, and lack of chain maintenance, but you're limited on belt size, and pulleys. With chain I can make it any size I want, and there are an almost unlimited options on sprockets. That's the trade off. Check out Chapelle Customs bikes, the factory flat trackers, and any of V & H's drag bikes. All chain.

GOOD! brembos are a huge upgrade over the stock ones! I'm using the 4 pot Nissin off an F4i/CBR600.
So much better!!

Hmm chain drive may not be a bad idea now that i'll probably have the power of an SV650 or Hyosung GT650R. Lower the gearing for better highway gearing, doubt it will adversely effect my MPG.

Which buell front end are you going to use? xb9?

I actually just bought a set of OEM wheel with brand new tires from Chapelle for $260 shipped to my door! seems like a great company to deal with.

Wow, now that is some fast progress. Very nice. How is the riding position with that?

thats a great question! I'll have to throw my leg over the bike and check lol, although i was planning on doing rear sets.
We had to trim the turbo housing and move the waste gate so it wouldn't hit the air box.

And the blow off valve will vent to the atmosphere.
Any idea what the target psi is? I am curious what these motors can take.
I am aiming personally for 5-7psi. I don't want to push it as the motor already is higher comp than most Harley models.

Hoping to crank out over 80 ponies.

Kimmo - i'm just the idea and powder coating behind the madness. The real wizard here is Nick over at https://www.facebook.com/oneoffcustomdesigns/ ...... man's a bloody mad scienst! but does amazing work!

We will be tuning for 91 pump gas, this will be a daily for me in the spring and Summer. So I don't have to chance it when I'm on my way to South Dakota and can only find 91.

How ever the 10psi map will be done on 93 exclusively. I'll have two maps and two waste gate Springs.. So when I go to the drag strip a few times a year I'll be able to push it.

le boost gauge is mounted... well temporarily, still have to powder coat the bracket.

and a blow off valve has been chosen as well

and just a quick picture of the mock up. Why not?

The project looks really good. Today I went back to post #1 of this thread just to try and understand how this project has evolved. Looking at the posted pictures does give an insight into the level of detail you have to go to to allow for the safety aspect as well.

There is a lot of design work that goes into it.

Especially since they will be offered as a bolt on kit for other street owners! I'm just the 1st of the production run to iron out any kinks that may arise.
