Looking to sell ASAP.

My 2015 street 500 engine has white spots all over it, anyone else had this issue and how to get rid of them?

I also live a couple streets back from the beach.

That looks like saltwater corrosion. The only fix I can think of is using a wire brush to remove most of the corrosion and then to repaint with a heat resistant black paint.

WD-40 try. Spray on, wipe off.

Did they have to take out the engine to repaint?

As a buyer I step into those shoes is I rather see patina, then sheered off bolts, broken bolts, dinged frame paint getting the engine in and out... F'That. Leave it alone already.
