The article i first found the Harley Davidson Street 500 and 750 had an interesting bike in the background...

and this full shot

Its clearly one of the HD streets but my question is will I be able to purchase one like that? or at least have the option of those accessories. I really like the single seat and bikini fairing...

It's a factory custom concept of the "street" (rdx 800).

Heres a few more pictures I found of the RDX 800

Do you guys think Harley could offer the pieces for it, especially the single seat cowl like BMW is doing with the R NineT??

never ever seen a harley like it, maybe it's a sign of Harley doing something very different in the future? I see the street 500 and 750 as mini versions of their bigger bikes, this XR is just much different
They should make it a separate model, the 750 R or something like that. Maybe that would be part of the mid-model-year offerings the Motor Company has typically been doing lately.

But maybe give it slightly more rearward footpegs. Straight drop down from the tail of the tank would be just about right.

Thats a good idea, i'd love to see what a 750R is like and what exactly they do different to it. What can we expect it to have?
I believe all the parts you're seeing on these bikes are either allready on the market for general use, or will be available from HD in the near future. Were I to get one, I'd immediatly set it up along the lines of the RDX 800 shown here, with the possible addition of an Airtech XRTT fairing.

I believe that is the street bike with a few off the shelf and soon to be off the shelf mods. They wanted to show that these bikes are just as customizable as the rest of the stable.
That thing looks pretty sweet. Is it production of one off?

are you sure those Airtech fairings are going to fit?
You can fit them to Sportsters, and this is a more compact bike. You'ld have to fabricate fittings, but I think it would be doable. The frame layout on these reminds me a great deal of the old xrtt Highboy layout. Use the Long Circuit fairing. Need rearsets and clip ons.

sweet, thanks for the info. Can't wait to see the Street 500 and 750 getting cafe'd.. I think I want to shorten the wheelbase as well, maybe a nice bikini ;)

how much finagling do you think the matching tail pieces will need?
I would just use the Screaming Eagle tailpiece shown on the RDX 800. But I don't think the Airtech tailpiece would be all that hard to fab up
Love that fairing

Has anyone here figured out where that fairing is from? I don't think it is an off-the-shelf part at all. If it is... I'm in the market for it. I had the way S750 fairing looks. The more I look at it, the more I dislike it.
More to the point, I want to know what front end they used. Those USD forks give the bike a much more muscular look.
Thats the Night Rod front end if I'm not mistaken. I saw a replica of this being built at Seven Islands Harley here in Mumbai. They've used Night Rod front, VRod Muscle billet handlebar and XL rear shocks.

I'm now getting desperate to find out where that front headlamp fairing came from.
