I went to the Harley Davidson India webpage looking for pictures of the additional colors, when i got to the home page a big message was staring me in the face, Order Books Open March 1st 2014.

Does anyone know when the North American order books open? Is it going to be concurrent with India or are we waiting until a later date?

All info that I can share now is that Bookings open on 1st March and Delivery Starts June 2014.

Yes I wrote to Harley and below was the reply :

Dear Mr Sahdev,

We begin booking on the 1st of March. Deliveries are expected in May. There is no ABS feature currently on the 750. MRF Zapper Y tires- 100/15 in the front and 150/17 in the rear.

yes this is all well and good, but harley is already advertising a march 1 date for books to open. Has anyone been in contact with Harley USA? I do wonder if deliveries will begin at a similar date but with North American order books opening much closer to that date than in india?

Perhaps NA order books are already open unofficially official of course...

Guys the Tyre Size mentioned is incorrect I Guess

Correct would be

Front : 100/17
Rear : 150/15

1st march most dealers out of the 13 present in india will get the display bike. Delhi will likely get the test ride bike on the same day as well , b'lore has said they might get the test ride bike as late as 2nd week , kolkata dealer is clueless .

I will be at kolkata 1st week of march , if they get the bike I will test ride it there. If not , I will return to delhi and then take the ride next day and if it is satisfactory , I will book it on same day. Rest assured I will share details as well as pictures .

It is either street or ninja 300 though my heart is heavily tending towards the harley as I'm not into sportsbike.

Yes Of-course I will be getting it financed and will get the accessories financed too, if I would find any accessory to be added during delivery of Street 750

When I enquired the same with Bangalore,India showroom dealer he said bookings from March 1st and delivery probably after 4 - 6 weeks maximum that's what he said ...
It would be horrible to wait for 3 months

I heard in one of the interviews of Mr Anoop that delivery will start in June,

I wrote to Harley and they said May, so dont know exact dates when delivery will be starting.

Yes Bike will be available for display and Test Drive in Delhi on 1st March, but I am booking straight away without even riding it as its a H-D and have read a lot about Street 750.

I have trust in H-D and don't want to test drive to make my decision

I will drive it though but definitely that would not change my mind I guess.
