I've got a Torc T14B. I like the look a lot and I got it because it has Bluetooth integrated. Now after trying a few out, I would go with an HJC full face helmet because they're lighter, and have better ventilation than mine. My helmet isn't terrible but the microphone for the Bluetooth is awful, otherwise it's ok.

I currently wear an HJC 3/4 DOT (prefer Snell certified) approved helmet with open or closeable vents, a clear flip up shield, plus it has a built in tinted inner shield that opens and closes using a slide built in on top of the helmet. I've also installed a Bluetooth setup in this helmet.

love it...

I had and tried all types of helmets over my many years of riding.

for me, full face helmets offer the best protection, but for me, they are too hot and reduce my peripheral vison more than I feel comfortable with.... skid lids not enough protection for my head or ears, , half helmets look like mushrooms on my head...

and have ridden in states where helmet laws stated that if you had health insurance that covered accidents while riding, then you were not required to even wear a helmet.

but you always had to have eye protection.

main thing I would say is, get one that is legal to wear and most of all fit the helmet to your head, don't try to fit your head to a helmet.
buy the most protection that you can afford or at least willing to pay for. I've mentioned before...a $5 helmet is for a $2 head. ;)

I personally wear a skid lid riding my electra glide.(behind a big windshield) Just bought the wife an Arai RX-Q from revzilla. They claim it has the best peripheral vision of any full face out there.

My daily helmet is my Scorpion Exo 1000. But my favorite is my 3/4 with a Biltwell bubble shield. I usually wear it when I'm not going to be on the highway since the liner needs to be replaced so it's a bit loose.

which helmet do you usually wear? any good recommendation
Depends on the Weather. And what I am doing. I have 3 HJC helmets. Full face flip shield(CLMax II) for winter. A 3/4 Flip shield(CL33) for most of the year. With an attached BT for my cell phone. And for Summer and low speed riding (Parades for example) I have a 1/2 helmet (IS2) with drop down lightly tinted visor. I sometimes use it on the highway. Somehow stayed on my head at 95 Mph on my way back from Cape May.

pretty much what the others have said, depends on the situation.
My bike is my everyday true daily, rain or shine, it's all i have.
I have a cheap matte black open face that i use for whenever.
I have a cheap torc gloss black full face for the rainy times,

and only this morning I picked up this beauty

Shark Raw these were 380 AUD. got it on sale at the local Honda for 249 AUD (as it has the tiniest scratch on the top)

Really happy with it.!

RSD Carbon Fibre

Unreal helmet, so light and love that i can take the visor off. With all the sun Melbourne is getting I'm currently rocking the silver iridium visor (like this guy).

I also own a Harley Davidson Evil K helmet. Good for hot days.
