How do you feel it compares to the 1200?
The XR1200 is definitely a bigger, faster bike.
This one feels more agile though. It is about 75 pounds lighter for starters.
I could lean the XR deeper in corners before I hit my pegs but we all knew that the XG has only like 28 degrees.
I think that the XG will be a favorite of mine once I get it all to look the way I want it. I really feel like they could make this a good "platform" bike bringing out a lot more customization. Next year will probably see some changes to make it more standard, like the grips I wanted wouldn't fit without some reworking of the throttle tube, things like that. They need to standardize some of the areas you can accessorize and push the ability to really make them unique.
